MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – After testimony wrapped up Tuesday for the Sidney Moorer trial, the man accused of kidnapping Heather Elvis, Moorer texted a reporter from our sister station in Mrytle Seaside (News 13 WBTW) and said he was all set to talk.
After 2 days of the prosecution insinuating Heather Elvis was pregnant at the moment of her disappearance, Moorer said it just shows the prosecution is desperate.
He says if she was pregnant, it was biologically difficult that it was his baby.
Three witnesses took the stand Monday, and all of said Heather joined a sex-related partnership along with Sidney Moorer.
Comments were earned regarding her weight, insinuating she was pregnant.
“She fairly well could have actually been pregnant. I understand that I didn’t get hold of her pregnant,” said Moorer.
Then, Tuesday throughout the trial, surveillance video was revealed from a Walmart in Myrtle Seaside of Sidney ordering a pregnancy test the night Heather disappeared.
He told News13 that he did get a pregnancy test, yet it wasn’t for Heather.
“I was in fact ordering it for my wife. She joined the automobile as soon as I ordered it for her. She took it that night, and it was negative, adore so several prior to and after,” said Moorer.
Moorer says he and his wife owned been attempting to get hold of pregnant for a lengthy time, and that night would certainly not be the just one he was seen ordering a pregnancy test.
