Leave it to soccer star Sydney Leroux Dwyer to kick spine at her pregnancy-shamers.
The U.S. women’s national group forward — that is expecting her initial child, a child boy, in September — shared a photo when it come to July 5 that stated her and her soccer gamer husband, Dom Dwyer, tubing when it come to a lake. Within minutes, the trolls came out in complete force. “You don’t tube while you’re pregnant,” wrote one commenter, while yet another chimed in: “You gonna kill that baby.”
But the 26-year-old Olympic gold medalist — that gained the award at the 2012 London games — was having none of it.
“It’s unfortunate that I have actually to claim something However after a variety of comments like: ‘you’re checking out provide birth to a dead fetus’ or ‘you simply killed your baby’ I have actually to remind you that this is MY body,” the mom-to-be wrote in an Instagram write-up later that day. “MY physique is the one that is making this life … So if I wish to jump in a pool, go when it come to a tube and gradually ride about Along with my husband, dance adore an idiot or job out, I am absolutely going to.”

Two weeks later, Leroux Instagrammed a 3D ultrasound of her adorable (and unscathed!) son. “I shall call him, Squishy,” she captioned the image. “#lipsfordays.”
In May, Leroux revealed that she shared her child news Along with Dwyer over FaceTime. “I was adore ‘I’m checking out take a pregnancy test,” Leroux told ESPN. “So I take the pregnancy check … and I position it when it come to the counter. The athlete is resting out the Rio games due to her pregnancy.
