Blake Lively obviously isn’t letting pregnancy affect her design sense in a bad means – in fact, she’s for good taking on it, as evidenced by her head-turning recent ensembles at Cannes.
“It’s enjoyable to dress up in a massive sparkly number and a Cinderella-looking dress,” the 28-year-old expectant star of the thriller The Shallows told People and Entertainment Regular editorial director Jess Cagle exclusively for The Jess Cagle Interview video series.
“I came residence to my child [18-month-old daughter James] and she was like, ‘Wow.’ You know, due to the fact that you merely look enjoy a Disney movie,” Lively says. “It’s enjoyable to grab to do that. due to the fact that once you’re a little girl you play dress-up, and now I grab to do it in big-girl life too.

Cagle mentions that the former Sisterhood of the Taking a trip Pants star and wife of Ryan Reynolds does every one of her own styling, which she confirms yet confesses she doesn’t already know why it’s seen as such a massive deal.
“Everyone on the planet does all of their own styling. They get up in the early morning and place their own clothing regard themselves. It’s not that different,” she notes, including that because she’s lucky to have actually access to a ton of terrific designers – something she thinks provides her an advantage – just what she does is “means much less impressive” compared to it could seem.
